Intimate weddings have such a special place in my heart. Maybe it is due to their simplicity...or the laid back nature of the day...or maybe it's the way in which I feel adopted into a stranger's family with warmth and sincerity.
I walked along the shoreline scouting picture opportunities & collecting detail shots of our gorgeous surroundings, while family members intentionally bundled wildflowers, hung garlands & placed signs.
Everything was beautifully eclectic and perfectly intentional, all while seeming effortless.
There was no stressed timeline, just casual preparations made by eager friends & family.
Everyone had a hand in creating some beautiful detail throughout the day. Whether it was the custom cake topper of their sweet little family ready for adventure, the delectable appetizers & dinner menu or the home brewed hard cider that I was eagerly encouraged to enjoy. It was such a wonderful example of community & family.
Good people. Good food. Good music.
What more could you ask for on such a day of celebration.
